The CBDdws Active Document Storage System allows
users to create, add, and store any type of document in
the CBDdws scanned image datastore. Active Documents,
such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel documents can
be modified and used just like normal documents, and can
be converted to a final version document. Once a
document has been converted to a final version, it is
permanently non-editable.
This system can be used to create managed work in
progress workflows, advanced functions such as RFP
template management, and proposal generation.
